The stencil, also called, matrix, is one of the main elements in the electrolytic marking system. It reproduces the logos and/or the alphanumeric codes that one must engrave on the piece.
We offer three different types of stencil to our customers: plastic, photoengraved and cartridge. The first two types are realized directly in our workshop by our technicians who follow the customers’ drawings whereas the third type can be created directly by the customers with a Brother device.
Which type of stencil shall I to use? – Given that the choice of a certain type instead of another one depends on what one would like to mark, we show you the main features of each stencil:
– Plastic: flexible and thin plastic support which is mechanically engraved. It is cheap, it has a long life (about 30.000 markings) and it can be used with all the Zaniboni electrolytic marking machines. It is suggested to whoever needs to mark numerous pieces with the same logo and/or alphanumeric code. – Photoengraved: canvas on which a jelly is spread. They are realized using the photengraved process. It is suggested to whoever needs an aesthetic marking. It can be used only with the electrolytic marking machine Muz-pt. – Cartridge: strip of tissue which can be engraved by using a thermal Brother printer. It has a short life and it can be used only with the electrolytic model Muz-pt, but it allows the customers to be completely autonomous.
